Classic black leather briefcase. The leather is sturdy, yet soft, and perfectly broken in. The front flap closes with two brass buckles. The rest of the hardware is also solid brass. The adjustable shoulder strap is relatively wide which helps distribute the weight of the bag. It can also be carried by the tophandle. There’s a large slip pocket on the back and inside you’ll find a variety of pockets and gusseted compartments to organize pens, cards or train tickets, keys, and other small necessities. Easily accommodates a 15” laptop with enough room left over to carry books or papers.

This specific bag was made prior to 1994, so the serial number is a random set of numbers. It was later known as Style 5260
Condition: Great. The briefcase was used extensively but the previous owner took good care of the leather, so it’s still got years of life left in it. There’s fading on the trim and corners and scuffs on the exterior. Two white marks can be seen in the detail photos. One mark is on the front of the flap and the other is on the bottom trim at the back of the bag. The leather that attaches one of the buckles to the bag is stretched out, but can probably be repaired if needed. Very clean interior and includes original lozenge tag.

Measurements are all taken lying flat. For best fit, compare my measurements to that of a favorite garment you already own (ex. waist measurement of your everyday jeans; length of your favorite cardigan, etc.)
